The reading library
Every reading in the program lives here once. The curriculum modules link to this library rather than carrying their own copies, so there is only ever one version to edit. Each entry notes which modules assign it.
The Concerns Worth Having
Seven concerns worth having about working this way, and where each one is answered as the program goes on.
Read it ->The Shape of Meaning
How a model represents language: tokens, vectors, and meaning as a kind of geography.
Read it ->The Two Roads of AI
How the dream of thinking machines diverged, and why both roads matter now.
Read it ->Two Memories, Not One
Claude remembers you across sessions now. What a product keeps for you, what you keep for yourself, and why only one of them survives automation.
Read it ->The Five Elements Spine: Personal OS Architecture Guide
What each Element is, what breaks without it, and the four tiers you can build it at. The map you grade your own system against for the rest of the program.
Read it ->Participant Techniques
Practices surfaced by cohort members in live sessions, credited to the people who brought them into the room.
Read it ->Finding Claude's Voice
A participant technique for tuning how Claude talks with you in conversation, and the four-cell experiment that tested it.
Read it ->Conversation Architecture
The recovery patterns: when to keep going, when to start fresh, and how to hand off context.
Read it ->The Winter Method
Using a model as a genuine thinking partner rather than an answer machine.
Read it ->The AI Landscape, Briefly
Narrow, generative, agentic, and an honest way to compare models yourself before Module 6's deeper evaluation.
Read it ->The Trust Boundary
Every job you hand to AI has a line in it: what the model may do on its own, and what you check before it counts. Where to draw it, and how it moves.
Read it ->Think 'Employee', Not 'Tool'
Claire Vo's principles for running AI agents the way you would onboard a new hire: scoped roles, progressive trust, and corrections that persist.
Read it ->Agentic Email Processing
A worked design for email triage, and where its boundaries are set.
Read it ->Reference Architecture
How the daily brief and the post-meeting sweep in Jay's own system are put together.
Read it ->Building With AI: The Four Ds in Practice
Delegation, Description, Discernment, Diligence. The Diligence limb seeds Module 5.
Read it ->The AI Model Landscape
The terrain for evaluating what to adopt, taught before the evaluation is built.
Read it ->The Landscape in Six Platforms
The longer field guide behind the landscape, platform by platform.
Read it ->Why We Build Together
The collaborative build that runs alongside the individual capstone.
Read it ->How this is organized
A reading assigned by more than one module appears once, with both modules listed. Editing it here updates it everywhere it is assigned. The curriculum pages carry the framing and the assignment; the library carries the text.
Some readings are carried over from the spring cohort and are being reviewed. The curriculum modules mark which material is settled and which is still in draft.
