Before Module 5

Your brief now runs without you starting it. Next week asks you to stand behind what it produces, so bring the evidence: what you checked, when, and what held.

Write four lines for a process of your own

Take one thing you are tempted to automate and write its four lines, one sentence each: what it does, what it never does, how you verify it (how often, and when), and how you pull the plug. If a line will not fit in one sentence, that is your answer for now. Bring it, and bring one you decided not to automate, with the line that stopped you.

Sample the unattended week

Let the scheduled brief run all week without stepping in to fix it on the spot. Check it instead at the rate and on the schedule your verify line names, and log each check: the date, what you checked, and whether it held. Note any time you wanted to step in, and whether you were right. Module 5 builds your health check from this log.

Make one correction stick

When the brief gets something wrong, fix it where the next run will see it: the brief prompt, the corpus, or your job card, not a reply in chat. Note whether the next brief carried the fix. If the week passes and you corrected nothing, ask yourself whether you are still reading it. As Dawg put it in the spring cohort, silence equals signal.

Required

Keep feeding the corpus

The brief now reads it without you. Add to it this week, including one note on something the brief missed.
